Very recently Jorah Mormont, exiled himself for selling slaves and when Ned Stark found out he sailed to Bear Island to execute him for his crimes, they are also close to House Glover not just in proximity but in marriages, the Mormonts and Glovers have married multiply times, Jorah's first wife was a Glover. They like many houses in the North are very loyal to the Starks.
